Welcome to our new Analysts, Mia and Samuel
We are pleased to welcome two new Analysts to the team. Mia Lavergata joins us as a recent graduate from the University of Bristol, and Samuel Scott-Dearing joins from the University of Leeds as our first ‘Year in Industry’ placement student.
Both bring a strong grounding in scientific and economic evidence, which sits at the heart of how we help clients demonstrate the value of new treatments.
Mia recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience, where she developed expertise in the statistical analysis of scientific data and the evaluation of novel evidence. At Cogentia, she will support our work in strategic market access, payer and key opinion leader (KOL) research and health technology assessment (HTA) dossier development.
Samuel is studying for a BA in Economics and Geography at the University of Leeds and joins us as our first Year in Industry placement student. He brings a foundation in economics and data analytics, including work experience with Imperial College London’s Institute for Global Health Innovation. Samuel will support projects across both health economics and market access strategy.
Our first ‘Year in Industry’ placement
This is the first year Cogentia has offered a placement, and it marks a new step for the business. We look forward to seeing the programme grow and to welcoming future students over the coming years.
A placement year offers students practical experience of how health economics and market access work in a consultancy setting. For us, it is an opportunity to support early talent and bring fresh perspectives into our project teams.
Joining Cogentia
We are always interested to hear from people who would like to build a career in health economics and market access. You can find current opportunities on our careers page or contact the team at recruitment@cogentia.co.uk.
